Jody joined the Stalite Lightweight Aggregate team in 2000 and brings decades of experience in the lightweight concrete and masonry industries. His areas of interest include lightweight concrete technology, masonry materials, energy efficiency, and production optimization.
He is highly active in several industry associations, serving as Chairman of the Expanded Shale, Clay and Slate Institute (ESCSI), Chairman of ASTM Subcommittee C9.21, Chairman of the National Concrete Masonry Association Acceptable Workmanship Committee, and as a Board Member of the Southeast Concrete Masonry Association.
Outside of work, Jody enjoys playing volleyball in a local league in Charlotte, NC. He prides himself on his serve and claims to have the highest jump in the league (when his knees don’t give out on him).
