Daniel has been involved with Stalite Lightweight Aggregate since his internship days at North Carolina State University. He brings a background in structural engineering, aggregates, concrete materials, forensic engineering, and geotechnical engineering.
At Stalite, Daniel focuses on plant production, product development, and supporting customers and engineers in the use of Stalite Lightweight Aggregate across a wide range of applications. He works closely with internal teams and project partners to develop practical solutions and improve overall material performance.
Daniel is known for his ability to connect technical concepts with real-world application and effectively communicate between production, sales, and customers. He is a licensed professional engineer in five states and an FAA-certified UAS commercial drone operator. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Civil Engineering (Structural) from North Carolina State University. He is also a two-time National Masonry Champion and former WorldSkills competitor in bricklaying.
