Cody is a licensed Structural Engineer (PE, SE) with experience in the design and analysis of concrete, masonry, steel, and wood structural systems. At Stalite Lightweight Aggregate, he focuses on structural design and technical support, working with engineers and architects to implement lightweight aggregate solutions that improve performance, efficiency, and constructability.
Prior to joining Stalite, Cody worked in consulting engineering, where he designed structural systems for commercial and residential projects and developed construction documents using industry-standard software. He is known for his ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with design and construction teams.
Cody earned both his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Civil Engineering (Structural) from North Carolina State University, graduating as Valedictorian. He is also a SkillsUSA National Masonry Champion, bringing a unique hands-on perspective to structural design.
