Description
Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee was constructed using precast concrete components throughout the seating bowl and concourse structures. The large-scale sports venue required durable, high-strength concrete elements that could be efficiently produced off-site and erected on the structural frame.
Structural lightweight concrete made with Stalite Lightweight Aggregate was used in precast seating units and structural elements to reduce dead load while maintaining the strength and durability required for stadium construction. The reduced weight helped improve handling and installation efficiency while lowering demands on the supporting structure.
Today, Nissan Stadium serves as a major sports and entertainment venue and is the home stadium of the Tennessee Titans
