The Stalite Logistics Advantage
Stalite ships directly from where the product is made. Our lightweight aggregate is produced at our Gold Hill and Aquadale, North Carolina facilities, where production, storage, and loading operations are integrated on site. This combined setup means fewer hand-offs, tighter quality control, and faster turnaround from order to delivery.
Distribution & Logistics Network
Stalite Lightweight Aggregate is distributed through a network of 28 terminal locations that provide local access to key markets. Each terminal maintains stockpiles of commonly specified materials, helping ensure availability and efficient delivery across regions.
Stalite also has rail capabilities through both CSX and Norfolk Southern, along with connecting railroads throughout the continental United States. This allows efficient movement of bulk materials across long distances.
Stalite also has access to multiple port facilities for international shipping, as well as barge access for domestic waterway transport, supporting flexible and cost-effective delivery across North America and beyond.

Rail Service
For large-volume pours, precast plants, and DOT projects across the eastern US.
- On-site spur accommodates 100-ton open-top or covered hoppers
- Unit-train or single-car releases to Class I and short-line connections
- Typical transit: 3–7 business days from Bill of Lading to siding
Truck Service
For projects up to ~400 miles from the plant or jobs needing staged deliveries.
